The Academy of Chocolate may help your decission

With Easter Sunday just a couple of days away everyone is having chocolaty thoughts over the tough decision of which Easter egg to buy
This decision may have been made slightly easier with the results from the Academy of Chocolate’s awards for the chocolate bars of the year.
With awards are given in several different categories, including ‘Bean to Bar Best Dark Bar’ and ‘Best Flavoured Milk Bar.’ Each category then has an opportunity for chocolateirs to win either a gold, silver or bronze award.
Some of the winners included Amedei Number 9, which received the Gold Bean Award, and Valrhona’s Manjari Orange, which was voted best in the category of Best Flavoured Dark Bar.
Launched in 2005, the Academy of Chocolate hopes to promote greater awareness and understanding of fine chocolate, and also to campaign for improvements in the quality of chocolate offered to consumers.
With Michel Roux OBE as patron, the 2011 judging panel included the UK’s foremost chocolate experts, Benoit Blin, Charles Campion and Stefano Borella.
