This year, ice cream fans in both London and Manchester will be counting down the days until Ben & Jerry’s Double Scoop Sundae Festival
Clapham Common, in South London, has hosted the festival for seven years, but 2011 will mark the first time that people in Manchester’s Heaton Park can also join in the fun.
During the two day event, from July 23-24, a variety of headline acts, including Maxïmo Park, Gary Numan and Fun Lovin Criminals will perform at each event.
The weekend will also feature a variety of attractions, including fairground rides, a petting farm, and of course, lots of ice cream.
In the run up to the festival, Ben & Jerry’s is also launching Be Heard!, a competition giving unsigned music acts the opportunity to perform at the festival and also win £1,000.
