People are choosing to snack instead of eating a proper meal

Many people are blaming their hectic schedules for not eating properly, finds a new survey
The UK was once a nation built on the foundations of three-square-meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner but these traditions seem to be slowly slipping away.
The survey, carried out by Feasters, found that people are skipping meals due to longer working hours and choosing to snack instead.
Over a fifth of the survey participants admitted to regularly eating their main meal after midnight, which is a very unhealthy habit as it does not give the body enough time to digest the meal before bedtime.
Nicola O’Dwyer, spokesperson for Feaster, said, ‘We have so many distractions that the time when we sit down to eat the main meal of the evening is getting later and later.’
