A new survey has revealed that 18 per cent of Brits are planning to leave the country over the Royal bank holiday so as to escape the wedding
Although some people have been counting down the days till April 29th when Prince William and Kate Middleton will tie the knot, it appears that not everyone shares this enthusiasm.
The survey, carried out by CitySocialising, found that some people who go as far as to leave the country, just to escape the street parties and constant television coverage of the Royal wedding.
They survey also revealed that 52 per cent of those questioned would rather be invited to supermodel Kate Moss’ wedding, when she marries guitarist Jamie Hince, on the same day.
Sanchita Saha, founder of CitySocialising, said, ‘When it comes down to it us Brits are torn between our ingrained sense of nationalism and our obsession with celebrities.’
