More and more people use their laptop to access the office from home
More than a third of small businesses admit to losing data on lost laptops
Thirty-four per cent of small businesses in the UK are jeopardizing new business leads and opportunities by not looking after critical sales information and important data according to new research by Buffalo Technology.
One in three business are going out the office to find new business with their laptop acting as their access to the office, and 34 per cent say they’ve lost a company laptop.
Paul Hudson, Northern European Sales director for Buffalo Technology says, ‘Businesses are working harder than ever and when on the road their files, records and customer information are amongst their most valuable assets. With the loss of important data productivity grinds to a halt, a sale could be lost and customer confidence and reputation becomes heavily dented.’
