Running around with the kids will help you shift the pounds
If the thought of a treadmill fills you with dread, don’t worry, there are plenty of other ways to add exercise to your daily routine so you won’t even know you’re doing it!
Do any of the following once a day to help you get into shape:
Wash your car
Walk to the shops
Play with your kids
Take the stairs rather than the lift
Take the dog out for a walk
Vigorous housework
Carry shopping to the car without a trolley
Speed shop in the supermarket
Get off the bus two stops early
Sit-ups on the sofa
Bicep curls with tins while you’re waiting for dinner to cook
