The world’s first low carbon footprint restaurant is coming to London
With the welfare of the environment a hot topic at the moment, Otarian hopes to educate diners in understanding the impact that their food choice has on the planet.
Otarian is the first global restaurant to carbon footprint its menu. So, whatever you choose to eat, from the field mushroom burger to the choc o treat dessert, you can be assured that you are doing your part to help the planet.
The vegetarian restaurant claims that if every Londoner swapped their meat based lunch to an Otarian Carbon saving meal once a week for a year, 0.86 Mt C02e would be saved – that’s the equivalent to the Houses of Parliament switching off its power for over 70 years.
The boutique style restaurant has already had success in New York but will be opening branches in London’s Wardour Street, Soho, Shaftesbury Avenue and Covent Garden this summer.
