As soon as the sun decides to make an appearance we automatically find ourselves seeking out the nearest beer garden to indulge in a refreshing pint
However few of us actually know the origins behind the drink that we like so much.
Founded in 1995, Freedom Lager, a Staffordshire based brewery, has opened its doors to offer an insight into the creation of its award-winning lager.
The tour will take you through the production process to explore the skills and knowledge that goes into brewing a Hand-Crafted Real Lager. You will find out the different conditions that are required to make each lager and how the storage casks can alter the taste.
After the tour, visitors will be invited to relax in the Freedom Brewery Tap where expert guides will provide a tutored tasting session of the full product range.
Tickets for the tour cost £10 per adult and £4 per child, tickets also include a complimentary drink and a ploughman’s meal. For more information on the tour, visit www.freedombeer.com
