Give your toes a pretty pedicure
Make your feet pretty with a pedicure

According to The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, 20 per cent of people believe their feet are the most unattractive body part. But never fear – Beauty Angels is here. Follow our five easy steps for the perfect pedicure.

1. The heels and balls of your feet and the edges of your toes are very susceptible to hardened skin. To avoid a build-up use a pumice stone or foot file once a week.
2. Soak your feet in a bowl of warm water for 10-15 minutes.
3. Pat dry with a clean towel, then massage in a rich foot lotion and slip on a pair of cotton socks to let the cream soak in.
4. After moisturising, gently push the cuticles back with a cuticle stick. Cut your nails straight across to avoid ingrowns and use an emery board to softly round the edges.
5. Your toes are now perfectly prepped for a splash of colour. First, make sure you apply a protective basecoat to prevent discolouration, then apply polish in strokes down the centre of the nail and neatly stroke the sides. Allow the polish to dry, then apply a topcoat. Bright orange is the colour of the season and it perfectly compliments a faux tan. The 2True nail polish range from Superdrug has some excellent disco hues (£1.95). Invest in a pair of new Scholl Party Feet Flip Flop Strips (£1.99) and you can strut to the beach instead of hobbling.
