House prices predicted to fall
House prices are set to drop

Surveyors are expecting house prices to fall over the next coming months

The survey, carried out by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics), found that 38% of surveyors predicted that house prices would fall rather than rise over the next three months.

These results come after property values fell for the second consecutive month in August.

Although the Rics survey only included 259 participants, the results mirror that of many of the other polls surrounding house prices.

After many stories hitting the news about rising house prices, the new drop is thought to be a result of many people returning to the property market, but not enough people interested in purchasing new properties.

The survey results found that Scotland was the only part of the UK where house prices were stationary.
