Bringing with it a host of new exhibitors and celebrities, the Ideal Home Show is back for its 104th year
Hosted by TV presenter and architect George Clarke, gadget expert Suzi Perry, food critic Gregg Wallace, and, new for 2012, garden expert Alan Titchmarsh and interiors icon Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who will all be on hand offering expert advice and live demonstrations. This year’s event is set to be the biggest and best Ideal Home Show to date.
Returning by popular demand, this year’s iconic Show Homes will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore a series of full scale homes purpose built within our mock residential street, live at the show. This year’s houses will feature three stunning full-scale model show houses, one taking inspiration from the Prince of Wales’s eco building concepts a before and after home improvement project as well as a modern, contemporary style open plan living home.
A show favorite, the ideal Home of the Future is set to re-launch with a new and more interactive format, showcasing some groundbreaking new product launches and a selection of the future innovations in domestic technology as well as more toys and gadgets than ever before.
Other highlights include the How To theatre, perfect for those looking for advice on their new DIY project; the ideal interiors sections will offer everything you need to dress your home and give it that personal touch. The ideal shopping area will also feature gift ideas, craft and homemade home solutions, as a treasure trove of beautiful home accessories, stunning gifts, exciting toys and innovative new technology.
After all of that entertainment the ideal Food and housewares section will provide plenty of foodie favorites from across the world to tickle your taste buds in time for lunch, as well as a selection of products that will help you become a master in the kitchen at home. The Celebrity Chef Theatre, will also showcase the top culinary names in the industry preparing some delectable dishes live at the show.
