Protect your children’s skin
Columbia Sportswear Omni-Shade clothing protects children's skin

Relax knowing your children’s skin is protected this summer with Columbia clothing

Protecting your children’s skin from sunburn and harmful rays can be a real worry, especially as most children like to spend their entire summer holidays playing outdoors. Sun cream only protects skin for so long and most clothes are made of fabrics that allow UV rays to penetrate through.

The vast majority of skin cancers are preventable with good sun protection, the best of which is provided by clothing. Columbia Sportswear’s new Omni-Shade range is approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation, and uses unique technology that helps block harmful rays penetrating through and damaging the skin.

With stylish t-shirts, shorts, skirts, and trousers your kids will love them too! Visit www.columbia.com for more details.

Many of my patients are dismayed when their skin doesn’t return to normal after giving birth, but remember that your hormones are still in a state of flux when you’re breast-feeding. (Lack of sleep, and the resulting stress hormones, can also lead to increased oiliness and acne. Easier said than done, I know, but try to rest whenever you have even a few minutes of downtime!) Skin typically returns to normal within four months after moms stop breast-feeding.skin cancer
