Mice and rats are a wide spread problem in the UK

Mice and rats are a wide spread problem all over the UK and it appears that even the Prime Minister has been affected by these pests as he is getting a cat to help him out
Mice and rats first came over to the UK from south-western Asia and although some are cute and can be kept as house pets, others have caused great distress for families throughout the UK.
Once you find a mouse or rat in your house they can prove to be extremely difficult to get rid off.
They, especially mice, eat everything they can get at and as they are very small, they have the ability to squeeze into some very tight spaces.
Recent TV-recordings filmed a large black rat at Downing Street several times scuttling in front of London’s most famous house door.
To help Mr Cameron get rid of his unpleasant guest, it has been revealed that he is getting a cat.
The four-year-old cat, called Larry, will join the family from London’s Battersea Dogs and Cat’s Home.
According to Downing Street, Larry has “a high chase-drive and hunting instinct”, developed during his time on the streets.
