Women quickly change into their killer heels at the last minute
High heels are painful, most women would admit that, so why do so many put themselves through the agony that they cause everyday?
A new study has found the secret: a spare pair of comfy shoes hidden in their handbag. The research, carried out by Hotter Shoes, found that one in three women carry another pair of flat shoes in their bag so that they can quickly swap into them.
An incredibly 46 per cent of women have admitted to wearing a pair of trainers when they are going to meet their friends and they quickly changing into their killer heels at the last minute.
Lisa McCarten, at Hotter Shoes, said, ‘We were astounded to find comfy shoes often being seen as a “handbag accessories” in women’s daily lives. The research highlights the amount of pain women encounter in uncomfortable shoes but shows they are willing to do something about it – logically shoes that look good and feel fantastic are the answer.’
