Shower drains away stress
A shower helps to wash away stress

New research has revealed that having a shower at the start and end of the day has a positive effect on our levels of stress

The study, carried out by Mira, a shower manufacturer, found that just over two thirds of Brits find that a shower distresses them after a hard day at work.

The study also found that people find that increasing the force of the shower spray and changing the temperature also helps with de-stressing.

It was also found that a shower could help to find solutions to problems, the results of the study showed that 68 per cent of participants had resolved an issue whilst having a shower.

Ian Lynch, from the Happiness Project, said, ‘The shower offers us a great mini-meditation setting and provides some much needed relaxation.’
