Small businesses keep their Christmas party
Small businesses keep the festive spirit

The majority of small business will still be holding a Christmas party despite the tough economic times, reveals a new study

The research, carried out by Crunch.co.uk, found that businesses with up to 20 staff members will still be holding their festive party even tough 78 per cent of the businesses have either missed targets or laid off staff.

Furthermore, the study found that half of those holding parties said that celebrations would be the same size or even bigger than last year.

Darren Fell, MD at Crunch.co.uk, said, ‘With many larger businesses and the majority of SMEs cancelling their Christmas party this year, our research today appears to show significantly more optimism amongst the smallest business community.’
