Christmas only comes around once a year so, if you are travelling abroad or just spending it at home with your family, it is worth putting the effort in the avoid these simple mistakes.
Jane Press, an online stationery boutique store, offer the following tips that could instantly improve your holiday snaps:
1. Look your subject in the eye – hold the camera at the person’s eye level to create an inviting feeling that pulls you into the picture.
2. Move in closer – Fill the picture area with the subject that you are taking as this helps to capture all the detail and emotion.
3. Use a plain background – Ensure that there are no distractions in the background that could ruin your photo.
4. Use a flash outdoors – Eliminate dark shadows by using your flash to lighten the area.
