The nominations for the 2022 BRIT Awards have been announced, with the likes of Adele (seen above), Ed Sheeran and Dave dominating the categories with four nominations each.
They will be going head-to-head with each other for both Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, in company with Sam Fender, after all three had a very triumphant year.
However, the upcoming BRIT Awards will see numerous changes from previous years with the male and female categories both scrapped and the inception of four new genre awards; rock, hip-hop, dance and Pop/R&B. In addition, there has also been an expansion of the international categories.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 8th February 2022 at London’s O2 arena. The show will be hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan, TV/radio personality Maya Jama and radio presenter, Clara Amfo. The show will be broadcast live on ITV.
