Breath-taking
Motoring enthusiasts are invited to head up the windy roads of Jebel Jais – the UAE’s highest peak situated in the majestic Hajar mountain range – on Thursday 17th November and watch the action unfold in an adrenaline-fueled morning. Overlooking breath-taking views of the grand cliffs and canyons of Jebel Jais, auto fanatics will witness the Gumball grid of 100 supercars in collaboration with the all-female supercar club Arabian Gazelles, all competing to set the best time up the winding 20km hill climb road!
Later that night, Latin superstar Ricky Martin will take the stage, as Gumball 3000 teams up with Global Citizen Forum for their Annual Summit, in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, and the UNHCR (United Nations Refugee Commission). The event aims to fundraise for forcibly displaced individuals across the globe, while also supporting underprivileged youth in low-income communities through the Gumball 3000 Foundation. On the final day, participants will drive from Ras Al Khaimah to Abu Dhabi, experiencing four incredible checkpoints before reaching the finish line at the Yas Island F1 circuit.
Raki Phillips, Chief Executive Officer of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said: “As the region’s adventure capital, Ras Al Khaimah’s stunning topography and natural terrains are perfect for an adrenaline-fueled road trip experience.
