What are the main advantages of taking out a PlusHeat plan?

Can I cancel if I change my mind after taking out a plan?

All PlusHeat plans come with a 14-day cooling off period, so if you change your mind it’s very simple to cancel the plan. You will not be charged anything if you cancel your plan within the cooling off period.

Can I transfer cover from another supplier?

It’s easy to switch suppliers if you find a more suitable offer. If you have cover with another supplier and want to take advantage of a better deal, just contact your current supplier to find out how to cancel your current plan (or wait until your contract expires) and then take out a new plan with PlusHeat. How long is it before I can claim on my plan?

You cannot make a claim during your 14-day cooling off period. Once the cooling off period has expired there is no limit to the number of claims that you can make.

Can I get a plan tailored to my requirements?

Yes. Unlike many suppliers, who offer only a small number of fixed products, PlusHeat offer a unique custom plan facility that allows you to pick and choose exactly what you cover. This tailored cover is unique to you.

How long will it take to get repair work done?

If you have an emergency at home, we will often be able to attend the same day that you report the issue. Otherwise, we will attend the next day. Scheduled maintenance work, such as annual boiler service, will be booked for a day and time that suits you and your tenant.

Who will do any repair work needed?

Your repair work will be conducted by one of PlusHeat’s Gas Safe registered engineers. All of the engineers in our network are local to you, fully qualified and experienced heating engineers.

What can I have covered besides heating?

As well as boilers and central heating, PlusHeat also offer cover for plumbing, drainage, electrics, roofing, home security and pest control. PlusHeat’s Platinum plan covers all of these elements in one simple plan.
