The official china ware to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla has gone on sale. The commemorative china is crafted from the finest English bone china and finished in 22-carat gold. It is cast, fired, and decorated by hand at the potteries in Stoke-On-Trent, where china has been produced to commemorate royal occasions for generations.
The production process encompasses the skills of over 50 skilled artisans. See the fascinating process in this behind-the-scenes video.
The Royal Coat of Arms has been specially painted for the occasion and is supported by a garland of laurel leaves representing peace. Oak leaves, for strength, join the national emblems of the four nations of the United Kingdom – thistle, rose, shamrock, and daffodil within an entwined ribbon that represents the supportive partnership between The King and Queen.
