Celebs Line Up for the Ideal Home Show

Taking place from the 17th March – 2nd April 2023 at Olympia, London, the Ideal Home Show features a strong lineup of celebrity guests from architects and interior designers to stylists, chefs and property experts, bringing you the latest ideas about property and home.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is an English interior designer and television personality best known for appearing on the BBC programme Changing Rooms.

In 2020, Llewelyn-Bowen designed a furniture collection with British furniture manufacturer, wholesaler and dropshipper Artisan Furniture, consisting of handmade, solid wood furniture designs showcasing carving, painted and dark-stained furniture pieces. The LUX collection by Llewelyn-Bowen is set to be available for both dropship and wholesale.

Phil Spencer

Phil’s passion for property emerged when, after a stint working for an estate agent in Canterbury, he decided to head to university and sat a 4 year degree course in General Practice Surveying at London’s Southbank University. Having gained his Surveying degree, in 1996 Phil founded the company Garrington Home Finders (www.garrington.co.uk), and was one of the very first property professionals to specialise in looking after the interests of purchasers.

Location Location Location was born, and Relocation Relocation followed shortly afterwards. The 20th series of LLL has just been recorded, making it the longest running and most successful program of its type on UK TV. Phil is also the presenter on Phil Spencer’s Stately Homes and Kirstie and Phil’s Love it or List It.

Martin Lewis

Martin Lewis CBE (above) founded the Money Saving Expert website in 2003 and is currently its Executive Chair. Martin set up this site in his living room in 2003 for a total capital outlay of £80. With a focus on how to cut bills without cutting back, it soon saw explosive growth. And very quickly it became the UK’s biggest consumer site, a title it has now held for well over a decade.

Martin’s flagship output, alongside this site, is his prime-time ITV current affairs programme – The Martin Lewis Money Show – which has been running since 2012. Though in 2019 that turned into The Martin Lewis Money Show Live, first as a one-off emergency pandemic special, but that proved so successful there have been over 50 live episodes since. The 11th series started in September 2021, and is on most Thursdays at 8.30pm until February 2022.

Gregg Wallace

Gregg is an English broadcaster, entrepreneur, media personality, writer and former greengrocer. He is known for co-presenting MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef and MasterChef: The Professionals, alongside celebrity chef John Torode, on BBC One and BBC Two.

John Torode

John Torode MBE is presenter of BBC’s MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef. A regular guest chef on ITV’s This Morning, he also co-hosts John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen on ITV, with his wife Lisa Faulkner. He is also a published author of cookbooks.

Lisa Faulkner

Lisa first established herself as a leading actress starring in numerous high profile TV dramas including Holby City, Spooks and Dangerfield. In 2010 Lisa won BBC 1′s Celebrity MasterChef and has since gone on a remarkable food journey.

In 2012 Lisa’s first cookery book was published, Recipes From My Mother For My Daughter and became an instant bestseller, reaching number one in The Times non-fiction list. Lisa’s second cookbook The Way I Cook was published in September 2013.

Olly Smith

Olly Smith is a multi award-winning broadcaster, wine expert, TV personality, author and columnist.

He is best known for his finely-tuned taste buds, boundless knowledge and infectious enthusiasm especially in the world of food and drink.

He is the weekly wine columnist for the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine and regular wine expert and occasional host on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen.

Stuart and Scarlette

Scarlette and Stuart Douglas are the brother/sister presenting duo taking television by storm. With first-hand experience in property development, the pair are set on sharing their expertise and insight with newcomers and old hands in the housing market.

Scarlette and Stuart made their debut as a presenting duo when they took over presenting duties on Phil & Kirstie’s Love It or List It for Channel 4’s ‘Black To Front Day’ in September 2021, the second most watched programme of the day.

Rosemary Shrager

Rosemary Shrager is best known for appearing on many TV cookery programmes including Ladette to Lady, Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks, This Morning and The Alan Titchmarsh Show. 

Rosemary’s professional career includes a period working for Pierre Koffman at the internationally famous Tante Claire restaurant in London and also a period working for Jean-Christophe Novelli as well as being head chef at Moyns Park, the home of the Mountbattens who held private and corporate functions and where Rosemary was responsible for all aspects of catering.

Kate Hardcastle

Kevin Flynn

In 2022 Kevin participated in The Great British Bake Off, consistently delighting the judges with his creative bakes which always hit the mark on flavour. Along with his sense of humour and those trademark facial expressions, he shared a true passion for flexing his creative muscles through baking and cooking.

In particular, his final bake consisting of a honey, thyme, and bay custard, studded with fresh nectarine and raspberries, left a lasting impression. Judge Paul Hollywood said, “the flavours were essentially the best in the tent,” while fellow judge Prue Leith added, “That custard is just extraordinary. That custard will remain with me for the rest of my life – I’m going to go home and do it – I think he’s invented something wonderful.”

Wayne Perrey

As a TV Carpenter and DIY expert who writes for The Sunday Times home magazine, Wayne has worked on the most popular UK interior design and garden makeover shows including BBC’s The Great Interior Design Challenge, Interior Design Masters, Garden Rescue with Charlie Dimmock and ITV’s Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh.
