At the event, which will take place on October 3, Geri Halliwell, who has been a patron of the charity for 12 years, will treat the audience to a number of old favourites along with the first live performance of aptly named new material Phenomenal Woman.
The Breast Cancer Care fashion show sees 24 inspiring men and women, who have all been affected by breast cancer, conquer the catwalk to show you can look and feel great after a diagnosis.
Commenting on her involvement with the event, Geri Halliwell says, ‘I’m so excited, what an honour to be performing at the Breast Cancer Care fashion show”.
The fashion show models will be styled by fashion correspondent, Hilary Alexander, alongside London Fashion Week coordinator, Lesley Goring. They will model a fabulous range of designer clothing from fashion’s elite including Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood, as well as high street outfits.
Guests at the event will enjoy a champagne reception, a gourmet dinner and a glittering catwalk show as well a whole host of entertainment. All the money raised will help Breast Cancer Care continue to support the 50,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
Breast cancer is now the most common cancer amongst women in the UK. Last year’s fashion shows raised half a million pounds to enable Breast Cancer Care to provide expert information and professional support and advice when it’s needed most.
