• What jobs are Azpects products designed to tackle?

• Are there particular times of the year users should do these jobs?
It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Our EASYJoint can be used all year round, rain or shine. However, products like our sealers require dry conditions, so they do not lend themselves to winter installations.
• What are the essential qualities of jointing products?
For any porous jointing compound, a free-draining site is essential; this depends on the make-up of the sub-base and mortar mix. We recommend a 6/1 sharp sand and cement mix. For a stronger, more durable joint, it is also advisable to compact the joint using a pointing iron.
• How should I clean and treat a patio?
Cleaning your patio is easy when using Azpects products. However, the level of dirt/grime build-up dictates the best product to use. Our Patio and Deck Cleaner is perfect if you have a natural stone patio that only requires a general cleaning and freshen-up. Areas that have severe blackspot and lichen build up will benefit more from our Black Spot Remover.
• How should I seal and protect a patio?
This depends on your type of stone and whether you would like an enhancement. Most of our sealers can be easily applied using a pressure sprayer or paint roller. However, our Back to Black Limestone sealer is best applied using a paint pad and then buffed off using a microfibre cloth.
• Are Azpects’ products environmentally friendly?
Yes! We manufacture our products to be as effective and efficient as possible whilst maintaining a green, environmentally friendly ethos. Even our packaging is made using recycled and recyclable materials.

Azpects began in 2009 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Our two founding directors discovered an innovative product which they knew could benefit landscapers across Britain. So they launched EASYJoint in January 2010, which has fast become the UK’s leading product for joining patios, paths and paving.
