
Launching at the beginning of May, the drink is the perfect addition to mark the number of great British celebrations that are already taking place this year, including the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Olympics and, of course, Wimbledon.
With celebrity fans including Heidi and Jade from The Sugababes and presenter Jameela Jamil, bubble tea is quickly rising in popularity.
Originating from Taiwan, bubble tea in a fun and quirky fruit infused tea based soft drink, with the unique and hugely addictive addition of chewy Tapioca pearls at the bottom of the cup.
The signature peals at the bottom, or Boba as they are often called, have an almost gummy bear texture.
The Bubbleology team have trained under renowned bubble tea masters in Taiwan to learn the exact science of making the beverage, which requires precise measurements and temperatures to create the authentic taste.
Other flavours of bubble tea include cocoa pearl tea and apple green tea.
Priced at £3.75, the limited edition strawberry & cream bubble tea will be available in the Bubbleology store and in Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge store until the end of July.
