We caught up with Stacey for a quick chat about how she spends her Christmas.
When do you start getting your house ready for Christmas?
Christmas is by far my favourite time of year; I put my tree up in November this year because you just don’t have enough time to appreciate it if you wait until 12 days before Christmas. I love the lights that hang outside Harrods, it would be amazing if I could have them outside my house!
Do you have a Christmas day routine?
The whole family comes to me on Christmas Day because I’ve got the first-born grandchildren. I like the traditional Christmas so every year is pretty much the same for us, after waking up with the boys, checking if Santa has been and opening presents, everyone comes round for dinner, we play a big family board game, have some Christmas pudding and then all fall asleep in front of the TV by 8’ o clock. Christmas is the only time of year that I really spoil the boys, I love seeing their little faces light up when they’re opening their presents on Christmas Day. It’s also Leighton’s first Christmas this year so that will be special.
Do you have a favourite Christmas jumper?
I’m absolutely obsessed with Christmas jumpers, my favourite one has a tree on the front with baubles that light up and it also sings jingle bells to me, I love it!
