Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez launched Glow by Coty as part of her lifestyle line in 2002, and by 2004 it had brought in over $300m. It spawned several follow-ups, the first being Miami Glow, and most recent being L.A. Glow. In May 2012, she released her eighteenth fragrance, Glowing by JLo, which was described as the “evolution” of Glow and marked her 10-year anniversary working with Coty, Inc.
Jennifer Lopez said of the original “I wanted Glow to be fresh and clean, but still sexy and sensual – something that feels like you just came out of the shower and are the sexiest person in the world.” The fragrance contains notes of orange, grapefruit, jasmine, orris, irises, vanilla and musk., a combination of her favourite scents. It’s packaged in a clear white bottle, with curvaceous lines to look like a woman’s body, Jennifer Lopez’s “J.Lo” logo written in rhinestones on the bottle, and a complimentary chain inspired by Lopez’s style.

A lot of perfume wearers seemed to be surprised that a scent associated with Britney could smell so good – comments included “It smells good enough to justify admitting in public that I wear a Britney Spears scent” and “One of the best things I’ve ever bought. This perfume smells so unbelievable. I get compliments whenever I wear it.”
