From smartphones to iPads, research has found that almost half a million women in the UK use their handbags to cart around some of their most valuable properties.
The research, carried out by Kenco Millicano, found that in addition to expensive gadgets, women also shove children’s toys, chunky books and some even manage to cram in an extra pair of shoes. It’s no wonder that the average bag weighs over 4kg!
The top five items found in women’s handbags included:
